Two late goals broke Lecce hearts as AC Milan cemented their grip on third place in Serie A with a last-gasp win at the San Siro.
Ronaldinho and Filippo Inzaghi scored in second-half stoppage time to move Milan to within five points of second-placed Juventus, who were held to a draw earlier today.
Lecce arguably had the better chances of a lacklustre contest which only came to life when the 90 minutes were up, but the visitors nevertheless left beaten and still mired in the bottom three.
David Beckham was named on the bench for the first time since joining Milan in January with Kaka returning to the starting XI.

Last-ditch: Sunderland's Darren Bent grabs a dramatic winner deep into stoppage-time at the Stadium of Light
Manchester City could not find their way past Simon Mignolet and Roberto Mancini’s side then conceded a last gasp penalty which Darren Bent put past Joe Hart to the great joy of all the home fans at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland striker Darren Bent punished Manchester City for their profligacy at the Stadium of Light by smashing home a 94th-minute penalty this afternoon.
The game had been largely forgettable up until the point when Micah Richards brought down Bent inside the area.
His strike condemned Manchester City to their first defeat of the season as a glaring miss left Carlos Tevez red-faced.

The Young Boys of Berne might feel they lost their innocence as well as a rather important European match at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night but that was of no concern to Tottenham.
Champions League football is coming to this part of north London, and while replays of the second goal will make Jermain Defoe wince with embarrassment, nobody aside from the visitors seemed to care here.
After seeing Peter Crouch demonstrate exactly why Harry Redknapp is so reluctant to sell him with the first of three nicely taken goals, Defoe put this qualifying tie beyond the reach of the unfancied Swiss team with something that momentarily revealed the more cynical side of top-flight football.
